In this introduction to ceramics class, we will be exploring the 3 basic hand-building techniques in clay: pinching, coiling, and slab building. These foundational skills will be combined to create sculptural and functional objects. Students will be able to decorate their work through surface textures and glazing methods. Beginners and Intermediates welcome! Bring an old towel.
