TERRARIUM NIGHT LIGHTS- NEW MORNING SESSION!
StudentS will create a magical realm using polymer clay, cardboard, wooden pieces, fairy lights, and plastic plants and moss in a large food service size jar. They will be able to create figures and habitats, from building to the final decorative touches, like painting.

CROCHET
Students will learn the basics of crochet. We will learn common crochet stitches, how to choose yarn, and how to crochet in the round to make basic amigurumi objects.

ZINES
“Zines” are small, self-published books that share your ideas with the world!
We’ll begin by folding & cutting paper to create simple book structures. After making some blank books as practice, we will work on developing images and text through drawing, collage, stamping, and typing on typewriters. These little book structures are perfect for replication, so students will be able to assemble and leave with multiple copies of their project.
Depending on class size and interest, we might do a class zine exchange or a collaborative book too!

Black Girl's Window, Betye Saar
PERSONAL STORIES
In this camp, students will come up with their own imagery that tells their story. We will paint, draw, and create 3D assemblages based on the work by artist Betye Saar.

MINI ART EXHIBITION-FULL!
Using polymer clay and other materials, students will create small art objects that will become part of their own installation around the Murray court square. We create a map to have available for patrons of the art guild and participating businesses, for people to view these mini installations.
